If this looks familiar, it is identical to the honey garlic chicken dish above. All that changes is the meat.
Ingredients
- 1 small pork tenderloin or two-three center cut pork chops
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- ⅓ cup honey
- ½ cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons dark soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1 stem fresh oregano
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
Instructions
- Place port in slow cooker,
- In a mixing bowl, combine garlic, honey, ketchup, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, ginger, oregano and parsley; whisk until thoroughly combined.
- Pour the sauce over the pork.
- Cook for 4 to 5 hours on low, or 3 to 4 hours on high.
- Remove lid and transfer pork to a serving plate.
- Move liquid to a sauce pan and bring to boil, add chicken broth with corn starch until mixture thickens.
- Spoon the sauce over the chicken and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
- Serve with rice.
